Real-Time Platform
PLCRuntime is designed for deployment on a DA Synergie-qualified real-time operating-system platform.
Deterministic execution and timing characteristics apply only to operating-system, hardware and runtime configurations specifically qualified and documented by DA Synergie.
General-purpose operating systems and non-real-time configurations may allow PLCRuntime to execute for development, evaluation, simulation or other appropriate uses, but they are not considered deterministic PLCRuntime production platforms.
Operating-system scheduling, background services, drivers, antivirus software, system updates, other applications, CPU or memory contention, network activity and other host-system conditions outside PLCRuntime may affect scan time, latency and communication performance.
DA Synergie does not warrant deterministic or real-time performance on non-qualified operating-system or hardware configurations.
Industrial Control & Safety
PLCMaker and PLCRuntime are industrial automation products intended for use by qualified automation professionals.
PLCRuntime is an ordinary industrial control runtime and is not a functional-safety controller or safety PLC.
The machine builder, system designer or system integrator is responsible for determining the suitability of the complete control architecture for the application and for implementing and validating all safeguards, interlocks, emergency stopping, protective devices and fail-safe behavior required by the machine or process risk assessment.
Required safety functions must not depend solely on PLCMaker, PLCRuntime, ordinary PLC logic, a standard industrial network or ordinary remote I/O unless the complete safety function is implemented using equipment and architecture specifically appropriate and qualified for that purpose.

This is a licensing model distinction β not a claim of unlimited technical capacity or unlimited performance.
Licensing
$3,500 CAD β perpetual licence for one HistorianReport Suite / licensed historian system.
One purchase includes the complete suite (Historian, Real-Time Trend, Historian OPC components, ReportMaker, and Report Engine). No separately purchased component licences. No tag-based licensing.
Evaluation
A public evaluation download is planned. Without a valid HistorianReport Suite licence, Historian and ReportMaker provide full functional operation for up to 30 minutes per runtime session, then perform an orderly shutdown or close according to the product implementation. This is a per-session runtime limitation, not a 30-day calendar trial. A valid licence removes the 30-minute runtime limitation.
Status: Coming soon β not yet available for purchase.

Local AI Models
Primary Objectives
- Connect Cursor to locally hosted AI models.
- Provide local AI models with software development tools.
- Supply project-aware context that exceeds the model's native context window.
- Improve code understanding through project indexing and analysis.
- Enable secure access to local development resources.
- Reduce dependence on cloud AI services.
- Keep source code and proprietary information on local infrastructure.
Core Capabilities
Project Context
Automatically collects relevant information from the software project, including source code, solution structure, project dependencies, documentation, configuration files, Git repositories, and build outputs. This allows the AI model to understand the project more effectively.
Coding Assistance
Enhances AI-assisted software development with context-aware code generation, project-wide refactoring, cross-file analysis, code navigation, architecture understanding, and documentation generation.
Tool Integration
Provides controlled access to development tools, including file system operations, source code analysis, build execution, project indexing, search services, and future plugin extensions.
Security
The middleware acts as a defined security boundary between AI models and the development environment. It can restrict which tools and resources are available to the AI while keeping proprietary source code within local infrastructure.
Design Philosophy
The AI Middleware is not an AI model. It is an orchestration layer that augments local AI models with engineering context, software development tools, and controlled access to project resources. This architecture allows locally hosted AI models to provide capabilities similar to cloud-based coding assistants while maintaining greater control over privacy, security, and deployment.
